Waynehead

Waynehead was an animated comedy series created by Damon Wayans that aired on Kids' WB from 1996 to 1997. The show followed a young boy named Damey "Waynehead" Wayne growing up in New York City, facing challenges of childhood while navigating life with his family and friends. Tim Hightower contributed as a writer, infusing episodes with witty dialogue and relatable storytelling that appealed to both children and adults.

Although short-lived, Waynehead was praised for its authenticity and originality, featuring a largely African American cast of characters and addressing urban life in a way that felt both genuine and entertaining. Its themes of family, resilience, and community continue to resonate, marking it as an ahead-of-its-time animated series.
