Horror — In Development
Helliversity
A DDP-produced social horror film written by Tim Hightower, blending dark comedy and psychological tension within the setting of modern college life.
Overview
Genre horror with a social conscience
Created under DDP's C3 Studio and supported by SONY Music Orchard FMG, Helliversity fits within the studio's broader entertainment strategy: to create genre films that not only entertain but provoke dialogue. Inspired by classics like Get Out and Scream, it intertwines psychological tension with humor and biting social commentary, spotlighting underrepresented perspectives within the horror genre.
In keeping with DDP's Pilot City Film Slate initiative, Helliversity will be produced in collaboration with regional film partners, creating local jobs, workforce training, and community reinvestment opportunities — using filmmaking as a catalyst for both cultural storytelling and economic development.
