The C3 Central Campus represents a groundbreaking approach to sustainable urban development, combining historical preservation with cutting-edge renewable energy technology.
Preserving History, Building the Future
As part of the deconstruction, retrofit, and redevelopment of this property, Central High School will be preserved and retrofitted to become a structure that can produce as much renewable energy as it uses on an annual basis, also known as a Zero-Net-Energy structure (ZNE).
The other three non-historical structures will be deconstructed for Donation Benefit, allowing property owners to maximize tax advantages while contributing to sustainable development practices.
A new 28-story ZNE commercial mix-use high-rise will be built on the campus, creating a modern urban environment that supports diverse community needs.
